Double Shot Lavender Azalea
Azalea double Shot Lavender
Rhododendron 'Double Shot Lavender' is a remarkable, reblooming azalea prized for its stunning lavender-pink flowers, compact habit, and exceptional hardiness. This Monrovia-exclusive cultivar produces an abundance of large, single, funnel-shaped, lavender-pink blooms with delicate freckling, flowering heavily in spring and then again in mid-summer, continuing through fall until frost. The self-cleaning flowers drop away naturally, eliminating the need for deadheading and ensuring a hassle-free, extended season of color. With its dense, rounded form, glossy, dark green evergreen foliage, and excellent tolerance for heat and cold, it is an outstanding choice for containers, mass plantings, informal hedges, foundation plantings, and landscape accents.
