Victory Nursery provides local delivery for plants, trees, shrubs, fruit trees, and other nursery products throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and selected nearby communities.

We specialize in local nursery delivery, including larger plants and trees that are difficult to ship through standard carriers.

Delivery Cost

We keep local delivery simple.

Orders of $199 or more: Free local delivery within our regular service area.

Orders under $199: $10 local delivery fee within our regular service area.

Special delivery charges may apply to locations outside our regular routes or orders that require unusual equipment, handling, access, or scheduling.

Any additional delivery requirements should be discussed before delivery.

How Delivery Scheduling Works

Victory Nursery operates differently from a traditional parcel shipping company.

We combine local orders into delivery routes so plants can travel directly from the nursery to customers without unnecessary packaging or shipping through parcel carrier networks.

Our regular delivery day is usually Wednesday.

Orders are generally grouped by location, plant availability, vehicle capacity, and route efficiency.

Once your order is ready and scheduled, we will provide delivery information when available.

How Long Does Delivery Take?

Most local orders are scheduled based on plant availability and our upcoming delivery routes.

Some orders can be delivered quickly, while others may take longer if:

  • A plant needs to be sourced

  • Your location is on a less frequent route

  • Your order contains large trees

  • Special equipment is required

  • Weather or road conditions affect delivery

If you have a specific deadline, please contact us before ordering so we can check whether the timing is possible.

Do I Need to Be Home?

Usually, no.

If there is a safe and accessible place to leave your plants, you normally do not need to be present during delivery.

Our driver may take a photo after delivery for confirmation.

Please provide clear delivery instructions if there is a specific location where you would like the plants placed.

Standard delivery is generally curbside or to an easily accessible location.

If moving plants into a backyard or another part of the property requires significant additional labor, equipment, stairs, narrow access, or other special handling, please contact us in advance.

Large Tree & Oversized Plant Delivery

One of the advantages of buying locally from Victory Nursery is access to plants that are difficult or impractical to ship through standard carriers.

We deliver:

  • Large trees

  • Mature trees

  • Fruit trees

  • Privacy trees

  • Specimen plants

  • Large shrubs

  • Large nursery containers

  • Boxed trees

Large trees can be extremely heavy.

Depending on the container size, tree size, property access, and planting location, additional equipment or planning may be required.

For larger boxed trees, crane delivery may be recommended or required.

If you are considering a large tree and are unsure about delivery access, send us photos of the property, driveway, gate, planting area, and any overhead obstacles before ordering.

Planting & Placement

Standard plant delivery does not automatically include planting.

For customers who need additional help, Victory Nursery can assist with selected planting, garden planning, and related services.

Before purchasing a large tree, consider:

  • Access to the planting location

  • Gate width

  • Stairs

  • Driveway access

  • Overhead branches

  • Utility lines

  • Container weight

  • Planting hole preparation

Planning these details before delivery can make the process much easier.
