Choose the Result First

Start With the Landscape You Want

Container size is only one part of buying a plant. The better question is how established you want the landscape to feel when the plant arrives.

Privacy More starting height and density can reduce the time needed to create a useful screen.
Shade A larger tree begins with more trunk, branching, and canopy already developed.
Structure Established trees can give a young landscape proportion and visual anchor from the beginning.
Impact Specimen material can make one carefully chosen plant a focal point instead of waiting years for scale.

Larger plants are not automatically better. The right size depends on the site, access, budget, planting plan, and how quickly you want the landscape to develop. Victory Nursery carries multiple sizes so you can make that choice intentionally.

A Different Nursery Model

One Website. A Broader Plant Supply.

Landscape plants are fragmented across growers, varieties, container sizes, and nursery locations. You should not have to visit several yards just to find the right combination.

More Than One Plant?

Send Us the Plant List

For larger residential gardens, contractor orders, HOA work, commercial landscapes, and other projects, send us the plants you need instead of searching each item separately.

Include plant names, preferred sizes, quantities, delivery ZIP code, and target timing.

Multiple varieties from different growers
Matching sizes for hedges and repeated planting
15 gallon and box-size material
Residential, HOA, contractor, and commercial orders

Size Changes the Access Requirements

For box trees and other heavy material, the final location matters just as much as the plant itself.

Before ordering, check the route from the street to the drop-off area: gate width, stairs, slope, driveway access, overhead clearance, parked vehicles, and the final unloading location.

Photos are helpful when access is tight. Very large material may require special handling or equipment.

East Bay & Tri-Valley Delivery FAQs

The questions below cover the details that usually affect plant choice, scheduling, and delivery.

How do I know whether my address is within your East Bay delivery area?

Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, San Leandro, Castro Valley, Hayward, Fremont, Union City, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, San Ramon, Danville, Walnut Creek, and nearby communities are within our core East Bay and Tri-Valley service region.

Exact delivery availability can still vary by address, plant size, order size, and route. Enter your address during checkout or send us your ZIP code if you want to confirm before ordering.

How quickly can an East Bay order be delivered?

Most orders are arranged within about 10 business days. Some plants may be available sooner, while orders involving several nursery sources, unusual varieties, large quantities, or mature trees can require more coordination.

Timing also depends on route capacity, weather, location, and plant availability.

Should I choose a 5 gallon, 15 gallon, or box-size plant?

Start with the result you want rather than choosing by container size alone. Smaller plants usually cost less and are easier to move. Larger plants give you more existing height, branching, canopy, or density from the beginning.

For privacy screens, focal trees, and projects where appearance matters quickly, starting larger can make sense. For larger quantities or long-term planting, a smaller size may offer better value.

Can you help me find a specific plant or size that I cannot find locally?

Yes. Plant availability is often spread across different growers and nursery locations. If you need a specific variety, container size, tree form, or quantity, send us the details and we can check our supply network.

For harder-to-find material, photos or measurements can also help confirm whether the available plants fit the project.

Can one order include plants sourced from different nurseries?

Yes. This is an important part of our online nursery model. A project may need trees from one source, shrubs from another, and a particular size from somewhere else.

We can coordinate the sourcing and delivery so you do not have to visit multiple nursery yards yourself.

What if I am ordering several plants for a hedge or privacy screen?

Send us the plant name, length of the planting area, preferred size, and approximate quantity. For repeated planting, consistency in height, fullness, and container size can matter more than it does for a single specimen.

We can check availability before you commit to a larger order.

Where will the driver leave the plants?

Standard delivery is generally made to an accessible curbside, driveway, front yard, or another agreed drop-off area. You usually do not need to be home if the location is safe and we have clear delivery instructions.

Standard delivery does not automatically include backyard placement, planting, or landscape installation.

Can you move a large tree through my side gate or into the backyard?

It depends on the plant, container dimensions, weight, access route, slope, gate width, stairs, and the equipment that can reach the property.

Before ordering large material, send photos and measurements of the access route. We can then determine whether standard delivery is practical or whether additional handling should be arranged.

Can I schedule delivery for the same day my landscaper is coming?

Regular deliveries are grouped into local routes, so an exact date or arrival time is not always available.

If a project crew, crane, travel schedule, or installation date requires tighter coordination, ask about Special Delivery before placing the order.

Can you source an entire landscape plant list?

Yes. Send the plant names, sizes, quantities, delivery ZIP code, and preferred timing. This is often easier than searching each plant individually, especially when a project uses several varieties or container sizes.

What should I send if I want help choosing the right plant?

The most useful information is your ZIP code, planting location, sun exposure, approximate available space, the result you want, and a photo of the area.

For privacy planting, also include the length of the area and the approximate height you want to screen.
