Our Plant Quality Guarantee

Healthy Plants. Correct Orders. Careful Delivery.

Plants are living products, and every plant is naturally a little different.

At Victory Nursery, our goal is simple: the plants you receive should be healthy, correctly identified, and delivered in good condition.

If something does not look right when your order arrives, let us know. We will review the issue and work with you on an appropriate solution.

What Our Quality Guarantee Covers

Our quality guarantee applies to the condition and accuracy of your plants at the time of delivery.

It covers:

  • Plants arriving in healthy condition

  • The correct plant type and variety

  • The correct container or box size ordered

  • Major damage caused during transportation or delivery

  • Serious problems that were clearly present when the plant arrived

Examples of major delivery damage may include a broken trunk, major structural branch damage, a severely damaged container that affects the root ball, or another condition that materially affects the plant.

Living Plants Naturally Vary

No two plants are exactly alike.

Height, width, branching, leaf density, flower quantity, fruit, trunk shape, and overall appearance can vary between individual plants of the same variety and container size.

Plants can also look different throughout the year.

Deciduous plants may arrive without leaves during dormancy. Some plants may have recently been pruned. Flowers and fruit may appear or disappear depending on the season.

These normal biological and seasonal differences are not considered defects.

If appearance, exact dimensions, branching structure, or another visual characteristic is especially important for your project, contact us before ordering. We may be able to provide additional information or current photos when available.

Inspect Your Plants After Delivery

Please inspect your order as soon as practical after delivery.

Check:

  • Plant type and variety

  • Container or box size

  • Trunk and major branches

  • General plant condition

  • Container and root ball

  • Any visible transportation damage

If you notice a possible problem, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Reporting the issue promptly helps us determine whether it occurred before or during delivery.

How to Report a Problem

If something does not look right:

  1. Take clear photos of the entire plant.

  2. Take close-up photos of the area of concern.

  3. Include a photo of the container or root ball when relevant.

  4. Provide your order number.

How We Resolve Quality Issues

Every plant situation is different.

Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate resolution may include:

  • Plant-care guidance

  • Replacement

  • Partial refund

  • Refund

  • Another reasonable solution based on the condition of the plant

We review each claim individually based on the plant, photos, delivery information, and nature of the issue.

What Is Not Covered

Our arrival quality guarantee does not cover problems that develop after delivery because of conditions outside our control, including:

  • Improper watering

  • Overwatering or underwatering

  • Improper planting

  • Poor drainage

  • Soil conditions

  • Incorrect sunlight or placement

  • Fertilizer or chemical damage

  • Damage caused during planting or moving

  • Damage caused by people, pets, wildlife, or equipment

  • Frost, extreme heat, wind, storms, or other weather events

  • Pest or disease exposure after delivery

  • Failure to provide appropriate ongoing plant care

  • Normal seasonal or biological changes

Transplant Stress Is Normal

Plants can experience temporary stress after transportation or planting.

Some yellowing, leaf drop, wilting, or reduced growth can occur while a plant adjusts to a new location.

This does not automatically mean the plant is unhealthy.

Correct watering and planting are especially important during this adjustment period.

If you are unsure about what you are seeing, send us photos. We are happy to help you evaluate the plant.

Planting Matters

The condition of a plant at delivery is only the beginning.

Proper planting depth, watering, drainage, sunlight, soil conditions, and ongoing care all affect how a plant performs after installation.
