Site Access Requirements

To ensure safe and efficient crane operation, the jobsite must meet the following minimum access conditions:

  • Minimum vertical clearance: 25–30 ft
(Includes overhead lines, tree canopy, rooflines, and other obstructions)

  • Road / driveway width: ≥ 17 ft
(Required for truck positioning and outrigger deployment)

  • Required truck & rigging clearance: 35.6 ft total length
(Straight or adequately maneuverable access needed)

If site conditions are limited or unclear, photos or a brief site review are strongly recommended prior to scheduling.

Lifting Capacity

  • Designed for large landscape trees in 24–60 inch boxes

  • Final lifting capacity is subject to:

    • Pick radius (distance from crane to load)

    • Boom length and angle

    • Ground conditions and site setup

    • Actual load weight and rigging method

Capacity confirmation is finalized as part of lift planning.

Pricing may vary if additional coordination is required (e.g., permits, traffic control, limited access, or extended setup time).

FAQs

Q1: What types of projects can a crane help with?
Tree installation/relocation, large specimen placement, hot tub or equipment set, steel/beam lifts, rooftop HVAC lifts, and other heavy or awkward picks.

Q2: Do you provide an operator, or can we rent the crane only?
Most projects are provided with an operator. If you need bare rental, we can discuss requirements and site responsibilities.

Q3: How do you determine crane size and cost?
It depends on load weight, pick radius, boom length, ground conditions, and access. Photos, measurements, and a brief site check help us quote accurately.

Q4: What do you need from me before scheduling?
Address, desired date/time window, load description (what’s being lifted), approximate weight/dimensions, and a few site photos (driveway, gate, overhead lines, landing spot).

Q5: Do I need permits or traffic control?
Sometimes. If street occupancy or lane closure is needed, permits may be required. We’ll flag it early and align on who pulls permits.

Q6: Is insurance included?
We carry standard coverage and can provide COI details upon request. Additional insured certificates can usually be issued for the jobsite.

Locally tuned plant selection

We visit nurseries and orchards across California and only bring in trees that perform well in Bay Area microclimates — from foggy Daly City to hot Tri-Valley backyards.

From nursery to your yard, not a warehouse

Your trees travel through our own distribution base, not a random freight network. That means better handling, fewer broken branches, and plants that arrive ready to thrive.
