What We're Interested In

Rare & Specialty Fruit Trees

We are especially interested in unusual fruit varieties that may appeal to Bay Area gardeners.

Locally Propagated Plants

We are interested in well-rooted, healthy nursery material grown locally.

Surplus Nursery Plants

Sometimes a grower simply has more plants than they need.

If you have healthy surplus nursery material, send us a list.

We cannot promise that every plant will fit our current demand, but we are happy to review what is available.

We generally look for plants that have:

  • Healthy growth

  • Good root development

  • Reliable cultivar information

  • Appropriate nursery containers

  • Consistent quality

  • A realistic path to repeat production when demand exists

For specialty plants, uniqueness can sometimes matter more than volume.

You do not necessarily need hundreds of plants.

A small quantity of something difficult to find may still be worth discussing.

You do not need to prepare a formal catalog.

Send us:

  • Plant names

  • Cultivars

  • Container sizes

  • Approximate quantities

  • A few current photos

  • Your city

  • A short description of how you grow them

Phone photos are fine.

If the plants look relevant to our customers or sourcing needs, we can continue the conversation from there.

We May Come Visit

For growers in the San Francisco Bay Area, an in-person visit may be possible.

A visit gives us a chance to:

  • See the plants in person

  • Understand your growing setup

  • Learn how you propagate

  • Discuss available quantities

  • Talk about customer demand

  • Explore possible future production

Not every inquiry requires a visit.

We can usually start with photos and a plant list.

How a Grower Partnership Can Work

There is no single partnership model.

Depending on the plants, quantities, demand, and your operation, we may explore options such as:

One-Time Purchase

You have a quantity of plants that fits current Victory Nursery demand.

We agree on the material, price, timing, and transfer arrangements.

Repeat Supply

If customers respond well to the plants and you can continue producing them, we may discuss future orders.

Demand-Based Growing

We may share information about varieties, sizes, or plants our customers are requesting.

If those plants fit your growing capabilities, that information may help guide future production.

Specialty Sourcing

A customer may request a cultivar that you already grow.

When there is a fit, your plants may become part of our specialty sourcing network.

Future Production

For some plants, we may discuss upcoming production rather than material that is ready today.

Any future arrangement would be agreed upon separately based on the specific plants and requirements.

Plants often have stories behind them.

A fig may have been propagated from a family tree.

A specialty cultivar may have taken years to collect.

A backyard nursery may have started with one greenhouse and gradually expanded.

With your permission, Victory Nursery may feature selected growers through our website or other content.

Plants and nursery stock are regulated products in California.

Any purchase, resale, movement, or commercial arrangement must follow applicable California nursery, pest, quarantine, labeling, and other regulatory requirements.

The requirements can depend on the type of plant, where it was grown, where it will be moved, and the nature of the transaction.

If we identify a possible commercial opportunity, we can discuss the appropriate requirements before proceeding.
