Sweet Bubba Desert Willow
Chilopsis linearis ‘Sweet Bubba’
Chilopsis linearis 'Sweet Bubba' is a spectacular, low-maintenance desert tree prized for its exceptionally large, fragrant, magenta-pink flowers and its extraordinarily long bloom season. This patented, seedless cultivar produces blooms that are notably larger than other desert willows, opening from late spring and continuing all the way through autumn. Its narrow, willow-like, bright green leaves create a soft, airy canopy, and because it is sterile, it never produces the messy, long seed pods that can detract from other varieties. A magnet for hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies, this deciduous tree is a stunning focal point for hot, dry landscapes and xeriscape gardens.
