Luxuriant Bleeding Heart
Dicentra ‘Luxuriant’
Luxuriant Bleeding Heart is a superb, long-blooming woodland perennial prized for its delicate, fern-like foliage and charming, heart-shaped pink flowers. This vigorous, clump-forming hybrid is a significant improvement over traditional bleeding hearts, as it continues to produce its nodding, rose-pink blooms from mid-spring through summer, rather than going dormant after flowering . The soft, blue-green, finely divided leaves resemble carrot tops or ferns, creating a lush, textural mound that remains attractive throughout the growing season . A true hummingbird magnet, it is an outstanding choice for adding graceful color and fine texture to shady borders, woodland gardens, and containers.
