Lime Marmalade Coral Bells
Heuchera ‘Lime Marmaiade’
Lime Marmalade Coral Bells is a luminous foliage plant that acts like a beacon in the shade garden. Its heavily ruffled, heart-shaped leaves are a vibrant, glowing lime-chartreuse that holds its bright color remarkably well throughout the season, even in quite a bit of shade. In early summer, it sends up light scapes of creamy-white flowers. This eye-catching perennial is perfect for lighting up dark corners, creating stunning contrasts, and adding a fresh, vibrant punch to containers and borders.
Glowing, Vibrant Lime-Chartreuse Foliage: Features deeply ruffled, rounded leaves in an exceptionally bright, lime-green color that seems to illuminate shaded areas.
Excellent Color Retention: Renowned for holding its brilliant color without burning or fading, even with more sun exposure than many other light-leaved Heucheras.
Full and Frilly Mound: Forms a dense, perfectly mounded clump with incredibly ruffled foliage, providing superb texture.
Versatile for Light Conditions: Performs well in partial shade to nearly full sun (in cooler climates), making it one of the most versatile Heucheras for adding light color.
Perfect for Color Contrast: Its bright foliage makes it an ideal companion for plants with dark leaves (purple, black) or blue flowers, creating dramatic and cheerful combinations.
