Dwarf Mondo Grass
Ophiopogon japonicus ‘Nana’
Dwarf Mondo Grass is the quintessential fine-textured, evergreen groundcover for creating a lush, lawn-like carpet in shade. Its tufts of very narrow, dark green, grass-like leaves form a incredibly dense, low mat that slowly spreads by stolons. It is a minimalist's dream, offering a serene, uniform texture that beautifully sets off stepping stones, fills gaps in rock walls, or edges shaded pathways. Requiring no mowing and little care, it is the ultimate low-maintenance alternative to traditional turf in low-light areas.
