Berry Bright Saxifrage
Saxifraga fortunei Berry Bright
Saxifraga fortunei 'Berry Bright™' is a charming, compact perennial prized for its vibrant magenta-pink flower sprays and attractive bronze-tinged foliage. This cool-season bloomer forms a tidy, clumping mound of semi-evergreen, rounded leaves with a distinctive bronze hue that adds depth and contrast to shaded spaces. From late fall through late winter, it produces slender, upright stems bearing airy clusters of small, star-shaped, vivid magenta-pink flowers, creating a cheerful, luminous display that attracts butterflies and other pollinators when most of the garden is dormant. Exceptionally shade-tolerant, deer and rabbit resistant, and easy to grow in consistently moist, well-drained soil, it is an outstanding choice for woodland gardens, shaded borders, rock gardens, pathway edging, and containers.
