Kudos Silver Blue Dwarf Hummingbird Mint
Phlomis lanata
Agastache 'Kudos Silver Blue' is a compact, dwarf perennial prized for its long-lasting, lavender-blue flower spikes and aromatic, gray-green foliage. Part of the award-winning Kudos™ series, this well-branched, clump-forming plant produces dense, upright spikes of small, two-lipped, tubular flowers in a soft, powdery silver-blue from late spring through summer and into fall, right up until the first frost . The nectar-rich blooms are a magnet for hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. The narrow, gray-green leaves are highly aromatic when crushed, releasing a refreshing scent reminiscent of anise, licorice, mint, or fennel and can be used to make delicious herbal teas. Exceptionally heat and drought tolerant, this low-maintenance, deer-resistant perennial is an outstanding choice for sunny borders, rock gardens, pollinator gardens, and containers.
