Q: How large does 'Sky Tower' Ginkgo get?
A: It has a very narrow, upright habit, typically reaching 40-60 feet in height and only 8-12 feet in spread at maturity, making it ideal for tight spaces where a standard Ginkgo would not fit.

Q: Is it fruitless?
A: Yes, 'Sky Tower' is a male cultivar, producing no pollen and, crucially, no messy, foul-smelling fruit (the "ginkgo nuts" produced by female trees).

Q: How much sun does it need?
A: It performs best in full sun to partial shade (3-6 hours of sunlight). For the most vibrant fall color, however, full sun is recommended.

Q: How fast does it grow?
A: It has a moderate growth rate, adding about 6-12 inches per year. Its naturally strong central leader requires little to no pruning to maintain its columnar shape.

Q: Is it tolerant of urban conditions?
A: Yes, like all Ginkgos, 'Sky Tower' is highly tolerant of air pollution, compacted soils, heat, and drought once established, making it an outstanding street and city tree.

Q: What is the fall color like?
A: The foliage turns a brilliant, uniform golden-yellow in autumn, often holding its color well before a dramatic, single-day leaf drop.
