Description

Azureum Bush Germander is a versatile and tough evergreen shrub that shines in Mediterranean and drought-tolerant gardens. It forms a rounded mound of small, aromatic, gray-green leaves with silvery-white undersides. Throughout the warm season, it is adorned with small but numerous two-lipped flowers of a lovely sky-blue to lavender-blue color. Its relaxed form, exceptional heat and drought tolerance, and deer resistance make it a superb choice for low hedging, foundation planting, or as a specimen in a rock garden.

  • Sky-Blue to Lavender Flowers: Produces a profusion of small, delicate blue flowers that attract bees.

  • Silver-Gray Evergreen Foliage: The small, oval leaves are attractive year-round, with a silvery sheen.

  • Extremely Drought and Heat Tolerant: Once established, it thrives with minimal water in full, reflected heat.

  • Adaptable to Pruning: Can be left to grow naturally into a soft mound or sheared into a more formal hedge.

  • Low Maintenance and Pest-Free: Requires little care beyond occasional pruning and is generally disease-free.
