Chon's Salmon Flowering Maple
Abutilon megapotamicum ‘Chon’s Salmon'
Chon's Salmon Flowering Maple is a captivating and floriferous shrub that offers a softer, more romantic color palette. Its pendulous, bell-shaped flowers are a lovely, clear salmon-pink color, hanging elegantly from the branches like delicate paper lanterns. Blooming almost continuously from spring through fall, it creates a cloud of soft color above its attractive, deeply lobed green leaves. With a more compact and weeping habit than some abutilons, it is perfectly suited for adding vertical interest and charm to mixed borders or for growing in a decorative patio container.
