Coronation Gold fernleaf Yarrow
Achillea filipendulina ‘Coronation Gold’
Achillea filipendulina 'Coronation Gold' is a classic, award-winning perennial prized for its spectacular, long-lasting display of enormous, flat-topped golden-yellow flower clusters and its finely textured, aromatic, silvery-gray foliage. This vigorous, clump-forming plant features fern-like, deeply dissected leaves that release a pleasant, spicy fragrance when brushed . From early to late summer, it produces sturdy, upright stems bearing large, plate-like corymbs of tiny, bright mustard-yellow flowers up to 4 inches across, creating a bold, sunny statement that is a magnet for butterflies, bees, and other pollinators . Exceptionally drought, heat, and wind tolerant, deer and rabbit resistant, and low-maintenance, it is an outstanding choice for sunny borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, mass plantings, and cutting gardens.
