Description

Kaleidoscope Abelia is a dazzling, compact shrub that delivers vibrant, ever-changing foliage color throughout the year. Its leaves emerge bright yellow and lime-green in spring, mature to golden-yellow in summer with deep green centers, and then ignite into fiery shades of orange and red in fall and winter. This spectacular display is complemented by a long season of pink-tinged white flowers. Its neat, low-growing habit and non-stop color make it a standout for borders, containers, or mass plantings.

Faqs

Q: Does it need full sun for the best color?
A: Yes, full sun is essential. Plant it where it will receive at least 6 hours of direct sun for the most intense yellow, orange, and red coloration. In too much shade, the foliage will remain mostly green.

Q: Is it as vigorous as the standard Glossy Abelia?
A: No, it is a more compact and slower-growing cultivar, which is a key part of its appeal for smaller spaces. It does not require the same level of pruning to control size.
