Description

Blue Flame Agave is a vigorous and dramatic hybrid, forming large, undulating rosettes that resemble blue-green flames. Its leaves are wider, softer, and more gracefully curved than many agaves, with fine teeth along the edges. Faster growing and larger than 'Blue Glow', it makes a bold, sculptural statement in the landscape, perfect for adding movement and cool color to slopes, large beds, or as a standalone specimen.

  • Forms a large, arching rosette with broad, soft, blue-green leaves that have a wavy, flame-like appearance.

  • Larger and faster-growing than 'Blue Glow', forming a substantial clump over time.

  • Monocarpic, but often produces many offsets, creating a lasting colony.

  • Extremely drought tolerant and deer resistant.

  • Excellent for slopes, large-scale groundcover, or as a dramatic focal point in dry gardens.

  • More tolerant of light shade and varied soils than some agaves.
