Description

Bush Ranger Kangaroo Paw is a tough and popular dwarf hybrid, renowned for its reliability and vibrant display. It forms a neat clump of blue-green, strappy foliage. From spring through summer, it produces an abundance of fuzzy, deep red to orange-red flower stems that stand proudly above the leaves. This compact variety is more tolerant of a range of conditions than some kangaroo paws and is an excellent choice for adding long-lasting, fiery color to borders, rockeries, or containers.

  • Reliable Deep Red Flowers: Consistently produces velvety, deep red to burnt-orange flower stems over a long season.

  • Compact & Robust Dwarf Habit: A smaller, tough cultivar known for its vigor and good performance in gardens.

  • Good Disease Resistance: Shows improved resistance to the fungal leaf spot ("ink disease") that affects some kangaroo paws.

  • Sun-Loving & Drought Tolerant: Requires full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, it needs minimal watering.

  • Ideal for Small Spaces: Perfect for the front of sunny borders, mass plantings, or decorative patio pots.
