Description

The 3-N-1 Multi-Graft Apricot Tree is a ingenious solution for savoring a season-long apricot harvest from a single, space-saving tree. By grafting three complementary varieties—such as an early ‘Katy’, a mid-season ‘Blenheim’, and a late ‘Moorpark’—onto one rootstock, this living tree offers a prolonged festival of blooms and fruit. Enjoy the unique flavors and textures of different apricots from spring through summer, all from a compact tree perfectly suited for patios, small gardens, or as a dynamic focal point.

  • Three distinct apricot varieties grafted onto one compact tree (selection varies by nursery).

  • Extends the harvest season significantly, providing apricots from early to late summer.

  • Showcases a range of flavors and sizes, from low-chill early types to rich heirloom varieties.

  • All grafted varieties are self-pollinating, ensuring successful fruit set on the single tree.

  • Grown on a dwarfing rootstock, maintaining a manageable size for containers and small landscapes.

  • Offers continuous ornamental interest with spring blooms and sequential fruit development.

Faqs

Q: What varieties are grafted on the tree?
A: Nurseries select compatible varieties for bloom time and growth. Please contact us for the current season's graft combination, which may include popular choices like ‘Katy’, ‘Gold Kist’, ‘Blenheim’, ‘Moorpark’, or ‘Flavor Delight Aprium’.

Q: Do the grafts pollinate each other?
A: Yes. All apricot varieties used are self-fertile, and the cross-pollination between the different grafts on the same tree can actually improve fruit set and size.

Q: Is pruning more difficult?
A: It requires attentive pruning to maintain balance between the grafts and prevent one from dominating. Summer pruning is often recommended to manage size and shape. Guidance for multi-graft trees is advised.
