Faqs

Q: Does the golden color fade in the summer or winter?
A: The golden margin is stable and persistent year-round. In winter, the color may take on a slightly more subdued, lemony hue but remains distinctly gold.

Q: Can it be kept shorter than its mature height?
A: Absolutely. Its slow growth rate and response to pruning make it easy to maintain as a lower hedge (e.g., 4-5 feet tall) with annual trimming after the spring growth flush.
