Description

Geranium x cantabrigiense 'Karmina' is a vigorous, semi-evergreen perennial ground cover prized for its profuse, bright magenta-pink flowers and dense, spreading habit. This robust cultivar forms a lush, weed-suppressing mat of small, rounded, lobed, glossy, medium green leaves that remain attractive throughout the growing season. From late spring through midsummer, it produces an abundance of small, saucer-shaped, vivid magenta-pink flowers with subtle darker veining, rising just above the foliage and creating a brilliant, colorful carpet that attracts butterflies and other pollinators. In autumn, the foliage often takes on attractive reddish-bronze tones. Exceptionally adaptable, drought-tolerant once established, and deer resistant, it is an outstanding choice for ground cover, rock gardens, slopes, borders, and as a colorful filler between shrubs.
