Jackman Clematis is the undisputed "Queen of the Vines" and one of the most popular flowering climbers ever cultivated. Introduced in England in the mid-1800s, this classic hybrid produces an unforgettable display of large, velvety, violet-purple flowers from early summer through early autumn . Each 4-6 inch blossom features four to six rich purple sepals surrounding a prominent tuft of creamy-yellow stamens, creating a stunning contrast . A vigorous, free-flowering, and reliably hardy vine, it is ideal for covering fences, trellises, pergolas, and walls, providing spectacular vertical color for weeks on end .
