Gold Nugget Loquat is a well-known loquat cultivar prized for its exceptionally sweet flavor, orange flesh, and large, attractive fruit. Selected and widely grown in California, this variety performs reliably in mild climates and is a favorite among home growers seeking a truly enjoyable fresh-eating loquat.

Unlike many loquat varieties that lean tart, Gold Nugget is valued for its low acidity and rich sweetness, making it ideal for fresh consumption directly off the tree. The tree itself is evergreen, ornamental, and well-suited for edible landscapes, backyard orchards, and small garden spaces.

Why gardeners choose Gold Nugget Loquat:

• Large, rounded fruit with smooth golden-yellow skin

• Pale flesh with high sugar content and mild, balanced flavor

• Smaller seeds relative to fruit size

• Excellent for fresh eating, desserts, and preserves

• Evergreen tree with glossy foliage and winter blooms

• Well-adapted to California and other mild coastal or inland climates

Gold Nugget loquat trees are an excellent choice for gardeners looking to grow a rare yet proven fruit variety that combines beauty, productivity, and outstanding taste.
