Description

Majestic Beauty Olive is a robust, nearly fruitless variety prized for its lush, dense, and broad canopy of silvery-green foliage. It grows vigorously into a large, imposing tree that provides substantial shade. While often sold as fruitless, it may produce negligible amounts of fruit, but its primary value is as a bold, evergreen shade tree.

  • Forms a large, dense, and broadly spreading canopy that creates deep, cooling shade—more so than many other ornamental olive varieties.

  • Typically produces very little to no fruit, making it a clean choice for a large landscape tree.

  • Fast-growing for an olive and develops a strong, central leader. Tolerates heat, wind, and drought exceptionally well.

  • Makes a dramatic specimen or shade tree for large lawns, parks, or commercial landscapes.

Faqs

Q: How big does it get?
A: It is one of the larger ornamental olives, easily reaching 25-30 feet tall and equally wide. Give it plenty of space to develop its full, majestic form.

Q: Can it be pruned to be smaller?
A: It can be pruned, but its natural vigor and size mean it’s best suited to locations where it can grow without severe size restrictions. Regular pruning to keep it small would be a significant ongoing task.
