Golden Ray New Zealand Flax is a tall, statuesque cultivar that commands attention with its bold, golden-yellow and green striped foliage. The long, upright leaves are primarily a bright golden-yellow, edged with a thin, dark green margin and sometimes a hint of orange. It grows in a large, imposing clump that brings a strong vertical accent and a burst of sunny color to the garden. Perfect for creating a tropical effect or a bright backdrop.

Q: Will it get floppy?
A: When grown in full sun with adequate light, it remains very upright. In too much shade or if overwatered/over-fertilized, the leaves may become lax and arch more.

Q: Is it the same as 'Yellow Wave'?
A: No. 'Golden Ray' is taller, more upright, and has a bright yellow center with a thin green edge. 'Yellow Wave' is shorter, more arching, and has a softer yellow center with a wider green edge.
