Provence Lavender is a robust, sterile hybrid lavender known for its exceptional oil production, vigorous growth, and long flower stems. It forms a large, silvery-gray bush that produces an abundance of highly fragrant, pale lilac flower spikes on tall, straight stems. As a lavender (a cross between English and Portuguese lavender), it is particularly heat and drought tolerant. It is the premier choice for commercial lavender fields, crafting large bouquets, and making potpourri or sachets where a strong scent is desired.

Q: Is Provence lavender edible?A: While not toxic, lavandin oils have a higher camphor content than English lavender.
