Blue Moon is arguably the most versatile and gardener-friendly wisteria for many landscapes. As a Kentucky Wisteria (Wisteria macrostachya), it is native to the southeastern US, more cold-hardy, and most importantly, blooms reliably on new growth. This means it flowers at a younger age, reblooms readily, and can be pruned hard without sacrificing that year’s blooms.

Blooms reliably 1-2 years after planting and often produces multiple flushes of fragrant lavender flowers from late spring into summer.
