Description

Desert Carpet Prostrate Acacia is another superb, fast-growing groundcover, similar to Low Boy but with brighter green foliage. It creates a thick, flat mat that is unmatched for quickly covering large, barren areas with a low-maintenance, evergreen carpet that bursts into golden bloom in late winter.

  • Spreads even more aggressively than Low Boy, making it one of the fastest solutions for covering large, difficult slopes or erosion-prone areas.

  • Maintains a bright green foliage color year-round, offering a more traditional “greener” look compared to the blue-gray of Low Boy.

  • Covered in masses of golden-yellow puffball flowers in late winter/spring.

  • Shares the same extreme drought tolerance and near-zero maintenance requirements. Simply plant and let it fill in.
