Description

Giant Timber Bamboo is a massive, clumping bamboo that lives up to its name, producing incredibly tall, thick, and straight culms perfect for creating a towering, jungle-like screen or for use in light construction. It is one of the fastest-growing and largest bamboos suitable for Bay Area climates.

A giant, non-invasive clumping bamboo that can rapidly form a formidable grove of culms 2-4 inches in diameter.
Extremely fast-growing in height, capable of adding several feet to a new cane in a single season once established.
Provides an incredibly fast, dense, and tall privacy or windbreak screen. Culms are strong enough for use in garden stakes, fencing, or crafts.
Requires ample space for its ultimate height and clump width. Not for small yards.
