Faqs

Q: How fast does it grow?
A: In ideal conditions (warmth, water, fertilizer), it can grow 1-2 feet per year. In a container, growth will be slower.

Q: Can I grow it in a pot?
A: Yes, it is an excellent container plant and often grown this way in cooler climates so it can be moved indoors for winter. Use a large, deep pot with excellent drainage.

Q: Is it legal to grow?
A: In most countries, including the USA, it is legal to grow Echinopsis pachanoi as an ornamental plant. However, laws regarding the extraction or preparation of its alkaloids vary widely and are often illegal. Always check and comply with local and national regulations.
