Gaura lindheimeri 'Belleza Dark Pink' (syn. Gaura 'KLEAU04263') is a compact, heat and drought-tolerant perennial prized for its airy, wand-like stems of deep pink, butterfly-like flowers. Part of the Belleza® series, this improved selection forms a tidy, bushy mound of narrow, lance-shaped, dark green leaves that may develop attractive reddish-bronze tints. From late spring through summer and into fall, it produces an abundance of tall, slender, branching stems bearing delicate, four-petaled flowers in a rich, saturated dark pink that fades to a softer pink as they age, creating a soft, ethereal, bicolor effect.
