Description

Stribling Fruitless Mulberry (Morus alba 'Stribling') is a fast-growing deciduous shade tree admired for its broad, rounded canopy and dense summer foliage. Large, glossy, dark green leaves with irregular lobes create a lush overhead cover, providing generous shade for spacious gardens and landscapes. Its smooth, pale gray-white bark adds subtle character, while the foliage turns muted yellow before dropping in fall. As a male selection, 'Stribling' produces pollen but does not develop mulberry fruit, eliminating the mess associated with fallen berries. Thriving in full sun with regular watering, this vigorous tree is best suited to large open spaces where its substantial mature canopy and root system can be accommodated.
