Q: How fast does it spread?
A: It has a moderate spread rate. It will not take over a garden overnight but will steadily fill in an area within 2-3 growing seasons when planted 6-8 inches apart. It is controllable by edging.

Q: Can it be walked on?
A: It is not as tolerant of foot traffic as turf grass. It can handle very occasional, light foot traffic (like stepping stones spaced within it), but it will not survive as a lawn replacement for active play or pathways.
