Q: How does it compare to Meeker?A: Canby is often considered to have larger berries and is completely thornless, making it easier to handle. Meeker is known for slightly higher yields and intense flavor, but has thorny canes. Both are excellent summer varieties.
Q: When exactly should I prune?A: Prune immediately after the summer harvest is complete. Removing the old fruiting canes allows energy to go into the new canes that will produce next year‘s crop and improves air circulation.
