Description

Hylotelephium 'Autumn Fire' (syn. Sedum 'Autumn Fire') is a robust, perennial succulent prized for its spectacular, long-lasting display of large, deep pink flower clusters and its attractive, blue-green, fleshy foliage. An improved, larger-flowered version of the classic 'Autumn Joy', this clump-forming plant produces upright, sturdy stems that hold their blooms well into winter, providing extended seasonal interest. Its fleshy, oval, toothed leaves are arranged densely along the stems. In late summer through autumn, it produces massive, flat-topped clusters of tiny, starry, rose-pink flowers that deepen to a rich, coppery-bronze as they age, attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Exceptionally drought-tolerant, cold-hardy, and deer-resistant, it is an outstanding choice for sunny borders, rock gardens, containers, and mass plantings.
